Received another beautiful "thank you" letter today.

Hi Kim,

Once a year, on International Project Management Day, I like to take a moment and thank you for the work that you do every day. It's not always glamorous and certainly has its challenges - but what you do changes things for the better. You make your department, your company, sometimes the world a better place. Along the way you give your team opportunities to improve, gain new skills, and become better at what they do.

This profession is all about progress through teamwork, and that's something that we all need more of in this rough economy. As we move forward, pulling together and making things happen, it's people like you who will lead the charge. YOU will map out a path to success that your team can get behind and believe in. YOU will help them push that extra bit that makes all of the difference. YOU will maintain your team's focus in a way that ensures success.

YOU will be the change that everyone needs - because that's who you are as a Project Manager.

Thank you so very much for all you do. As always, if I can support your efforts in any way, please let me know.

Best,
Dave
